Ο διεθνούς φήμης Συνθέτης Μιχάλης Τραυλός, θα πραγματοποιήσει ΣΕΜΙΝΑΡΙΟ ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΗΣ ΜΟΥΣΙΚΗΣ, στο “Ωδείο των χρωμάτων”, το Σάββατο 29 και Κυριακή 30 Νοεμβρίου 2014.
 
 
ΜΙΧΑΛΗΣ ΤΡΑΥΛΟΣ
Ο Μιχάλης Τραυλός γεννήθηκε στις 7 Ιουλίου του 1950 στον Πειραιά. Ξεκίνησε τις μουσικές του σπουδές στο Εθνικό Ωδείο Αθηνών το 1970 με τον Μιχάλη Βούρτση. Το 1975 έγινε δεκτός στο Hochschule der Künste του Βερολίνου, όπου σπούδασε σύνθεση με τον Isang Yun και ενορχήστρωση με τον Witold Szalonek. Απέκτησε το πτυχίο του στη σύνθεση μουσικής το 1980 .
Ζει στον Πειραιά ως ανεξάρτητος συνθέτης και καθηγητής θεωρητικών και σύνθεσης. Δίδαξε στο Ελληνικό Ωδείο (1980-1982), στο Ωδείο Σκαλκώτα Νίκος (1982-2013), στο Σύγχρονο Ωδείο (Αθηνών) (1987-1996). Από το 2014 διδάσκει στο "Μουσικό Horisons" Ωδείο Αθηνών .
Υπήρξε καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής του Ωδείου "Νίκος Σκαλκώτας " (1989-2013) .
Έχει γράψει μουσική για μικρά και μεγάλα σύνολα, για σόλο όργανα, καθώς και μια όπερα δωματίου και κοντσέρτα για σόλο όργανα και ορχήστρα. Έργα του έχουν παρουσιαστεί σε πολλές χώρες, όπως η Γερμανία, η Γαλλία, η Ιταλία, η Ρωσία, η Πολωνία, η Ισπανία, η Αγγλία, η Ολλανδία.
Τα έργα του έχουν επιλεγεί δύο φορές από το Gaudeamus Ίδρυμα που πρέπει να εκτελεστούν στο πλαίσιο του Διεθνούς Gaudeamus Music Week στην Ολλανδία, το 1978, το έργο Επτά Εκδηλώσεις για 8 παίκτες (1977) και το 1984 motivic Παραλλαγές για σόλο βιολοντσέλο (1983), αντίστοιχα. Το 1985 η Διεθνής Εταιρεία Σύγχρονης Μουσικής, ISCM περιλαμβάνονται βραβευμένης ταινίας του ορχηστρικό έργο Prisma ( 1979-1980) για τις Διεθνείς Μουσικές Ημέρες.
Η μουσική του έχει δημοσιευθεί από τον Ch. Νάκας - Κ. Παπαγρηγορίου ΣΙΑ στην Ελλάδα και Τόνος - Musikverlage στη Γερμανία .
Τα έργα του Μιχάλη Τραυλού έχουν καταγραφεί εκτενώς και εμφανίζονται σε πολλά CDs που διατίθενται στις ευρωπαϊκές και αμερικανικές ετικέτες όπως Φλεγόμενη, Lyra, Tar, Dna, El Culto/ClassXX και άλλοι.
